Colorado Container Corporation is a full-service
designer and manufacturer of corrugated packaging and display
products serving customers along the Front Range since 1963.
A privately held, independent company, Colorado
Container Corporation is proud of its Colorado roots, and
of the 130 people it employs. The company’s work force
has helped it earn a reputation for quality and service, and
the position of a single-source supplier to many of its quality-conscious
customers. The Denver community recognized this in 1996 as
Colorado Container received one of five Ethics in Business
Awards presented to Colorado-operated companies. The company
was founded 40 years ago by Rollie R. Kelley, who passed away
in 1999. It is operated today by his children. Each year,
the company donates a percentage of its profits to the Rollie
R. Kelley Family Foundation.
Colorado Container is proud to be part of an
industry that boasts 70% recovery rate of its product. In
addition, our company uses the latest available technology
to recover and recycle our paper waste, reduce dust emissions
and remove effluent from our wastewater. All paper used in
the manufacture of our corrugated boxes contains recycled
fiber, and we can produce material out of 100% recycled fiber
as applications allow. All white linerboard is elemental chlorine
free.
Among its numerous awards for service and quality, the award
of which Colorado Container is most proud is the Colorado
Ethics in Business Award, presented by the University of Denver’s
Daniels College of Business in 1996. Citing the company’s
commitment to its employees, its ongoing contributions to
charitable and business programs, and its straightforward
approach to doing business with customers and suppliers, the
award highlighted some of Colorado Container’s basic
tenets of business: share your success with your employees
through profit-sharing incentives, give your customers value
for their packaging dollar, and maintain steady, long-term
relationships with your suppliers. These tenets have been
keys to Colorado Container’s success.
